Foxroute v2.0 release
Now available online is version 2.0 of our FoxRoute system, which integrates Internet and GPS equipment for tracking, managing and protecting vehicles and people.
Evolution
This is definitely Evolution with a capital E as FoxRoute 2.0, with its all-new user interface, allows you to experience extremely fluid interactivity, whilst it is still an online application as opposed to PC-resident software.
Brief technical notes
The new FoxRoute version has been fully reengineered, the user interface completely overhauled and developed in AJAX to provide a user-friendly work environment and improved response times even when connection conditions are less than perfect.
The new interface takes into account the need for immediate accessibility to the main functions and for readability of content, focussing on giving users access to all useful information in whichever context they are currently in.
The Database structures have been optimized to allow fast searches, even when dealing with very large tables, so as to accommodate system growth for a reasonable period of time.
Compatibility
FoxRoute 2.0 is compatible with Internet Explorer 6.0 and later versions, and with Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and later versions.

Other Functions
Support for RS232 peripherals
The new release supports communication, through the tracker, with RS232 peripherals on board the vehicle. This means that you have full management of onboard personnel identification equipment (such as badge or RFID readers) or equipment for communication of information to personnel (displays, printers, pushbutton panels).
Advanced alarm management
Alarm management has been further developed. In addition to management of movement anomalies (vehicle inside/outside area, movement outside approved times, etc.) and the option of generating alarms based on the status of onboard sensors, new interesting options have now been added as a result of integration with peripherals via RS232, one of which is vehicle movement when there has been no driver recognition.
But we haven't stopped there!
Foxroute development is an ongoing activity and proceeds on all fronts. Future evolutions will mainly concern further integration with peripherals on board the vehicle, management of "alarm systems" (a minor new feature that we'll tell you about as soon as it's finished) and integration with GIS applications. While you're waiting for upcoming news, if you don't have one yet we invite you to order a:
Foxroute DEMO Password!
You can get your demo password by filling out the form on the www.foxroute.com site. This will give you access to the system for 30 days free of charge and allow you to play with a series of demo vehicles.
