Giacomo Zucco, CEO of Blockchainlab and protagonist of this video interview talk about the Blockchain technology, in a clear and easy to understand manner, highlighting some features of this innovation.
“Blockchain”, he says, “is a reliable clock managed from hundreds of thousands of different locations around the world, without anyone able to centrally change its time”. He defines it as clock, as it is able to certify the order, messages’ history, allowing distributed networks to pass signed messages and agreeing on their order.
But the biggest innovation brought to the internet is about being able to convey value. Giacomo Zucco says that “Blockchain is the piece that internet was missing, bringing in the digital world the scarcity concept of the physical world”. He goes on saying that “with blockchain we have a internet value that is unimpeachable, unmodifiable and uncontrollable”.
During the interview other topics have been covered, from the digital disruption of classic markets to Bitcoin, Ethereum and Zcash blockchains. To understand the value and evolutionary future of this technology, have a look at the whole interview, recorded at the 38th Milan Bitcoin Meetup, a monthly meetup hosted by Blockchainlab.
