Interlogica’s interest for technology is not based just on contemporary informatics. On the contrary, we believe that the restoration of old computers and connecting them to the internet allows the young people of today to re-discover the roots of a world that moves very fast.

When we learned about Museo dell’Informatica Funzionante (MusIF), a non-profit company from Sicily that restores historic computers and connects them, we decided to contribute economically to the museum activities.

From 2016 Interlogica finances the museum and will continue to support it to realise success stories such as the collaboration with the Warsaw Science Museum. The museum is working closely with the Museo Interattivo di Archeologia Informatica (MIAI) from Calabria and many more and it was able to recover from 5 magnetic tapes from the 90s the CROOK operating system.

The long work to read the tapes and to extract the Polish operating system has been summed up in this article that we want to share with you.
