Code in the Dark, Interlogica’s event dedicated to blind coding, is coming to Rome for the first time on June 27, 2023, at 6:30 pm, thanks to a collaboration with Talent Garden.
This urban and dynamic version of the competition, which originates from the Venice lagoon, will take place in the vibrant and intriguing spaces of the Ostiense headquarters.
With its exciting competition, blasting music, and energetic atmosphere, the event promises to be a memorable experience for all attendees.
Code in the Dark is not just a challenge for those with front-end development skills, but also a celebration open to people of all backgrounds and interests. Attendees will be immersed in an environment of innovation, technology, and fun, while also having the opportunity to build relationships and make connections. Join as a coder?
During the contest, you will have 15 minutes to recreate a website screenshot using only HTML and CSS, without the ability to preview your work.
Your role is crucial! Cheer on the contestants and help decide who will advance to the next round and ultimately be crowned the Code Champion Rome 2023 with your vote!

Contest Rules
HTML/CSS
Each contestant will receive an editor bundle that includes a screenshot of the website page to be implemented using HTML/CSS, along with any additional resources they may need.
15 MINUTES
The competition is held in multiple rounds of 8 contestants each. From each round, 2 people emerge who will compete in the final rush that will determine the Code Champion(s). each group has 15 minutes to reproduce the website.
NO PREVIEW
No iframes, frameworks, snippets, or other resources outside of those listed in the instructions. The website must be built from scratch during the contest, and the editor must be set to full-screen mode without exiting or using measurement tools. Previews of results are prohibited until the end of the 15 minutes.
CODE CHAMPION
After the 15 minutes have elapsed, each contestant presents their result to the audience, who then vote for their favorite to decide the winner.

How to join
The event is free of charge. Simply reserve your ticket through Eventbrite and join us on June 27, 2023, at the campus. Registration starts at 6:00 pm! As spaces are limited, please confirm your participation to secure your spot.
Note: If you plan to participate in the contest, remember to bring your laptop with you. Without it, you will not be able to compete.
