New Data Driven innovation approaches toward a common European data sharing space. The European project TUNE – Territory, Utilities, NEtwork promotes the creation of a shared Data MarketPlace to enhance private sector development, scientific progress and information reuse in the public sector.

Pooling certain data to figure out how can be used and shared without jeopardizing privacy, confidentiality, and sensitivity. Data confederation enables participants a more competitive and greater role in data-driven innovation.
Each company, institution, and citizen/prosumer could potentially benefit from the shared data to pursue their own vision.

What we accomplished

We provided an experimental environment, a pool of data (proprietary and open) to extract information.
Data were used to investigate two questions and highlight any correlations across domains in the context of recycling collection:

  • Potential correlation between green handover and climate (seasonality).
  • Potential correlation between virtuous recycling collection and good payers.
